21 Years of children’s theatre
It is a true and immense privilege to present a piece of theatre for an audience of children. To make them genuinely laugh, hold them engrossed in a moment of action and have their silent concentration fill the space is both gratifying and humbling in equal measure.
We have learned so much from them, we now know that children applaud with their silence and that they express their appreciation in the sharing their wonder and curiosity with us in moments of theatrical magic. They have actively shaped and inspired our work and we are eternally grateful to them. We sincerely hope that all of the children who have experienced our work over the past 21 years will have the chance to bring their own children to Branar’s work in the coming 21 years.
